The Dollywood DreamMore resort is a beautiful masterpiece nestled beside Dollywood Theme park. Our complete guide should answer most questions you have before arriving to your paradise among the Smoky Mountains.
Dollywood DreamMore Rooms
Boasting 11 room types, families, couples, friends, are sure to find their perfect retreat while visiting Dollywood Parks. All rooms measure at least 350 sq ft of space and a majority of the accommodations have connecting rooms. Dolly wasnt joking when she said she loved her family and wanted everyone to share in dreaming at her resort. Lamps beside the beds even read “Dream” on them as a constant reminder to her overall goal of the resort.
All rooms include the amenities of:
- Flat Screen TV
- Small Fridge
- Coffee maker with tea and coffee
- Open Closet storage
- Hair Dryers
- Clothes Steamer (Yes you read that right. Ms. Parton expects you to look your best always)
The Dollywood DreamMore website reads that they have multiple charging stations. We counted 4. Here are a list of all 11 room types. Pictures to come but for now clicking on the name (if applicable) will send you to a 360 tour. The family suite seems to be the best deal for parties larger than 3. It generally runs only $30 more than the standard room but gives you extra footage in the room, work desk, separate sleeping quarters (some featuring a door). This allows for Mom and Dad to rest like a vacationer.

Dollywood DreamMore Dining
Good. Southern. Cooking. Anything affiliated with the Dollywood Resort area seems to be amazing in traditional southern food. Dolly Parton even produced a few cookbooks outlining the importance of knowing the recipes and cooking the hearty meals responsible for the “Good Southern Stock” we see today. Keep in mind that this is not your typical average hotel. Breakfast is not included with your stay. However, it does mean they dont have eggs and bacon that have been sitting under a heat lamp all morning. All food is cooked fresh to order and their restaurants specialize in perfection. Dollywood DreamMore features 3 different dining locations.
This delightful little shop is located on the second floor of the hotel across from the check in desk. Here you can choose between a few types of sandwiches for lunch, salads, pizza. They do serve Starbucks brand coffee drinks but keep in mind you cannot use a Starbucks gift card at the location. It seems they do have many grab and go items especially for breakfast so its a wonderful hit before heading to the parks to take on the bus. Think of this more as a southern coffee shop or Bistro.
Lets be honest. This stop may have been better served with Pantry in its name, Upon walking in, the first thing you notice is an entire backdrop featuring canned goods exactly resembling your grandmother’s pantry. They do have a full service menu and are right outside of the Song and Hearth so its great for a pre or post dinner meeting place or just to enjoy some wine. Its brighter than most lounging but it does have some pretty impressive features like seats made from Ford pickup trucks and lighting reminiscent of fireflies.
Song and Hearth: A Southern Eatery
This restaurant is the Pride and Joy of DreamMore Dining. The atmosphere will remind you of spending summers and holidays around grandma’s table indulging in her best recipes and enjoying conversations that span generations. It is advertised as being open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner but keep in mind lunch is served in The Lounge. If you are blessed enough to find availability for the other two meals, you will be able to partake in a warm setting surrounding by huge stone fireplaces and large family wooden tables. Breakfast and Dinner are served buffet style.
Breakfast: Pancakes and Waffle bar with toppings, omelettes, Country gravy, cereal, pastries, fruit, biscuits, oatmeal, and different breakfast meats.

Dollywood DreamMore Recreation
There are 2 pools at the DreamMore Resort allowing you to take a dip in the heat or the snow.
The Swimming Hole: 10am-10pm
The outdoor pool has a zero depth entry on one end and a waterfall in the middle. There is a hot tub large enough for 25 people without getting too up close and personal. Kids will enjoy a splash pad should they just be interested in a few giant flowers. Its not very large and seems to be more for a place keeper than an actual splash pad area. The pool can best be reached by going to the ground floor and exiting the center doors. Be sure to bring your own towels with you. They do not provide them at the pool.
The Garden Hose: 8am-11pm
With lots of windows to let in the sun or view the snow falling down, the Garden Hose is perfectly heated to prepare for the cool temperatures in the mountains. To access you would need to descend the stairs in the main lobby to ground floor and exit the back doors. This pool is by far my favorite because its open early and stays open later. Most will be outside to soak up the sun but you can have the indoor pool to yourself (weather pending). Staff will also serve drinks and food to your lounge chair.
I think most people dont know a playground exists or maybe they are just too busy in the parks to notice. This equipment is something of a giant Lincoln log set that includes a few slides, climbing wall, and an area where kids can play fort while on vacation. There is no fence surrounding it so make sure you stay with your children closeby.
When the nights are cold or you just want a place to meet up with other guests and family, the perfect location is around the firepit. There is a barn area with firepit providing a charming enclosure in case of rain. Sense of Serenity and calmness that Dolly created at the DreamMore. There is an active family night life and it makes for a welcome home environment. Storytime around the barn as staff read bedtime stories to children (most of the time in their pjs)
(smores) $5 each for 2 smores
Fitness Center-located on the Main level
Family Game Room-located beside the indoor Garden Hose pool.
Storytelling-fireside story chats are located outside but there are also bedtime stories inside and you dont want to miss the story time by the tree inside during Christmas.
Butterfly Garden-perfect for pictures whether it be for wedding or family photos. This delightful meditation
Cornhole Game Court
Deemed the most popular spa in the Smoky Mountains, reservations are highly suggested. For peak seasons, you will want to make reservations at least 3 months in advance of arrival. Reservations can be made by calling 865.428.9684. Any cancellations must be made by 4pm the day prior. If bringing your significant other or just want to have fun with a friend, the couples massage room is limited and must be booked 3 months in advance. Because The Spa believes your relaxing experience should start from the moment of arrival, you can also valet park for free with a paid service. I love that they allow a mom and daughter day as part of the services. Children as young as 5 can receive a manicure or pedicure. Those 12 and up may receive spa service. Can I just say again that I love this so much!! If you are wanting to make this part of your vacation, it is generally open from 9am-5pm. I also suggest in my touring plans to take a FREE day and make this a priority. If mom (and Dad) would like to do this, DreamMore has an incredible program for kids, Camp DW (more on that next). The smells of the spa are enough to evoke relaxation. They can be purchased HERE
Camp DW: Just for Kids
This camp Dollywood is great for kids ages 4-10 years old. The schedule includes storytelling, crafts, snack, theme play time, and movies by the pool. Parents must accompany kids. No sign up is needed. All schedules for the week are provided at check in with the location and time. Just show up!
